We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Digital Marketing Manager – Grow & Retain to lead our lower-funnel digital marketing efforts across Country Road Group. Focused on customer conversion, reactivation, and retention, this role plays a key part in driving growth and enhancing customer lifetime value.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the digital marketing strategy for retention, conversion, and win-back campaigns across multiple channels.
- Oversee campaign execution and budget to deliver measurable results and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Customer & Digital teams to deliver targeted, performance-driven campaigns that support loyalty and engagement goals.
- Work cross-functionally with the Marketing Planning Team and the Digital Marketing Manager – Acquire & Reactivate to create a seamless, end-to-end customer journey.
- Partner with Product Owners to use customer data, segmentation, and personalised messaging for stronger campaign performance.
- Act as a brand partner to Mimco and Politix, understanding unique business needs and providing tailored marketing solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement through testing, insights, and analytics to inform decision-making and scale performance marketing efforts.
Key capabilities
- Extensive experience in digital marketing, with expertise in upper to mid-funnel strategies for brand awareness, audience engagement, and multi-channel digital campaigns in a retail environment
- Proven track record of managing a multi-million-dollar budget and optimising spend across channels to achieve strategic discover and engage objectives.
- Experience working with major publishers like Meta and Google to plan and execute effective upper funnel campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and report on KPIs for discovery and engagement campaigns, with a focus on reach, impressions, engagement, loyalty sign-ups, and conversions.
- Proficient in marketing technology tools, including analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, as well as customer data platforms (e.g. Tealium).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from marketing data and build performance dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Apply a data-driven mindset, leveraging A/B testing and optimisation techniques to improve campaign performance and foster customer loyalty.A passion for customer engagement and digital innovation.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, promote knowledge sharing, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
