Reporting to the Head of People Programs, the Reward and Reporting Analyst provides analytical and advisory support within the People Team. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality reward analysis, reporting, and data insights that inform strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with organisational policy, governance requirements, and market benchmarking.
The role ensures the organisation’s remuneration framework is competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives, while providing senior stakeholders with accurate reporting on people data and trends.
Key Accountabilities
Reward & Remuneration
- Support design and delivery of remuneration frameworks, salary structures, and benefits programs
- Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to inform pay decisions
- Assist with annual remuneration cycles, bonus allocations, and incentive schemes
- Provide modelling and data insights for pay and benefits proposals
- Ensure consistent and compliant application of remuneration policies
Reporting & Data Analytics
- Develop and maintain regular reports on People Metrics (Hire to Retire)
- Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis for People team and business leaders
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting activities
- Maintain key data in payroll and HR systems
- Provide analytics support for remuneration reviews, incentives, and talent processes
- Extract data for regulatory reporting (e.g. WGEA)
Governance & Compliance
- Monitor and ensure compliance with legislation, awards, and internal policies
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance reporting
- Maintain data confidentiality and security
- Complete BOOT reviews to ensure Fixed Remuneration exceeds award rates
Key Capabilities
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (preferred)
- 2–4 years’ experience in remuneration, reward, workforce analytics, or a related HR/finance role
- Skilled in remuneration benchmarking and reporting within medium to large organisations
- Proficient in HR systems and reporting tools (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, SAP, Tableau, Power BI)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail
- Solid understanding of remuneration frameworks, reward principles, and compliance (e.g., Fair Work Act, gender pay equity)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work with sensitive data
