The role
The purpose of this role is to lead the Trenery brand across brand strategy, design, buying, merchandise planning, marketing and visual merchandising.
This role collaborates closely with group functions including Digital, Sourcing & Supply, People, Finance, Real Estate and Technology to deliver on Annual and IBP Revenues & EBIT growth.
Reporting to the Group CEO, this role leads 5 direct reports including Head of Design, Head of Merchandise Planning, Head of Marketing, Head of Buying and Head of Visual Merchandising.
Key responsibilities will include;
Working closely with the Group Executive team, develop and define the brand vision, strategy and business plan to build a growing, profitable and sustainable business.
Leverage data and insights to develop and manage the long- and short-term plan for Brand in line with the agreed targets set in the strategic plan.
Generate opportunity, drive improvements, and experiment new ways forward to create sustainable brand value.
Deliver the brand financial and strategic targets.
Ensure product and service experience are of a quality and value that meets the needs of the customer.
Leverage marketing strategy and initiatives to engage consumers’ hearts and minds, and build the business.
In collaboration with Group, lead retail operations to provide customers with a world class retail experience.
Lead a high performance culture that inspires growth
Empower and enable others through devolved decision making, support and development
Collaborate across the group, involve others, be inclusive ensuring the right people and capabilities at the right time
Take a broad view, internally and externally driving responsible decisions at pace
Grow capability of others through purposeful action and planning, sharing knowledge and enabling others to take action and make decisions
Lead an inspiring people experience including performance, talent and succession management, development planning and engagement planning.
The Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience leading and developing a Brand or multiple verticals of a Brand.
Proven Brand turnaround experience who thrives in ambiguity.
Deep understanding of the fashion and consumer product industry.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong financial acumen, experienced in P&L management.
Experienced leader of medium matrixed teams with proven track record in leading a high performance culture, leading change and working horizontally with group partners.
Inspiring communicator, creates purpose and meaning to bring teams on a journey
Experience in building and managing strong cross-functional teams.
Open and curious with a growth mindset
Deep appreciation for sustainability and sustainable practices.
