We are seeking a commercially minded and customer obsessed Head of IT – Omni Channel to lead the technology platforms and digital product capability that power our end-to-end omni-channel customer experience across web, app, store and supporting retail and customer service systems. 

This is a transformation role. You will join at a pivotal moment as we deliver a major unified commerce platform migration across all five brands. 

Sitting at the intersection of technology, digital product, customer experience and retail operations, this critical leadership role will shape and deliver the technology and product roadmap that drives seamless customer experiences, commercial growth and operational excellence across the Group — while ensuring each brand's distinct identity, customer proposition and strategic priorities are reflected in how technology and product decisions are made. 

As Head of IT – Omni Channel, you will own the strategy, delivery and optimisation of the platforms and products that support the customer journey from discovery and shopping through to checkout and post-purchase experiences. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across technology and digital product, balancing the need for shared platforms and architectural consistency with the flexibility for each brand to tailor experiences to their customers, market position and growth strategy. 

How You Will Contribute 

  • Lead the omni-channel technology and digital product strategy across customer, retail and digital platforms 

  • Own the lifecycle of eCommerce, POS, CRM, customer service, digital marketing and retail technology platforms 

  • Drive digital product delivery across the customer journey from discovery to post-purchase 

  • Ensure technology and product decisions reflect the distinct needs of each brand — balancing shared platform efficiency with brand-level flexibility and experience differentiation 

  • Provide technology architecture leadership across the omni-channel domain, making sound platform, integration and build-vs-buy decisions 

  • Champion customer-centric design, UX optimisation and continuous improvement 

  • Leverage data and AI to drive personalisation, customer insight and operational efficiency 

  • Identify and implement emerging technologies and innovation opportunities 

  • Lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams across IT and digital product disciplines 

  • Manage platform governance, operational performance and investment priorities 

  • Own vendor and partner relationships across the omni-channel technology ecosystem, driving accountability, value and delivery quality 

Capabilities We Value 

  • Extensive experience in commercial technology and/or digital product leadership within large-scale retail or customer-facing environments 

  • Proven success leading complex omni-channel technology and digital product programs, including major platform transformations 

  • Strong technology architecture foundations with the ability to make sound platform and integration decisions 

  • Deep experience across eCommerce, POS, CRM, customer service, retail systems and customer platforms 

  • Experience operating within multi-brand or portfolio environments, balancing platform consistency with brand-level differentiation 

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer outcomes, operational efficiency and strategic investment decisions 

  • Experience leveraging data and AI within customer and retail technology environments 

  • Strong vendor and partner management capability across complex, multi-vendor ecosystems 

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership capability 

  • Passion for innovation, customer experience and shaping the future of retail
