Step into a day in the life of a Print Designer at Country Road where creativity, colour and storytelling come together on every garment.

From trend research and developing original print concepts to refining repeats, placements and colourways, you will turn inspiration into commercially relevant designs.

Working closely with Design, Buying and suppliers, you will bring artwork to life from screen to store. If you have a strong eye for pattern, detail and trend and love seeing your prints out in the world, we would love to hear from you!

How you will contribute

• Responsible for the creation of contemporary prints and graphics for Menswear, Womenswear and Accessories
• Research print trends and contribute to the strategic design brief
• Innovate pattern design solutions to evolve the print language consistent with the Country Road brand handwriting
• Creating repeats and finished artwork ready to be briefed
• Anticipation and adherence to the company timetable/critical path
• Management and maintenance of pattern archive - colour palettes, new prints and vintage prints
• Assist design team in the strike off process for product development.

Capabilities we value 

• Qualification or industry experience in Fashion, Textile or Graphic Design
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong creative eye with the ability to turn briefs and trends into commercial designs
• Confident communicator and collaborative team player
• Open to feedback and able to adapt designs to meet brand goals
• Highly organised, detail-focused and deadline driven
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of the customer.
