We are seeking a Head of Non-Trade Procurement to provide enterprise leadership across the Country Road Group, driving strategic sourcing, high-value contract negotiations, supplier governance, and value delivery across all non-trade categories.

This role sets the direction for Non-Trade Procurement, balancing strong commercial outcomes with effective governance, risk management, and stakeholder partnership. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape enterprise procurement strategy, influence at the executive level, and deliver meaningful commercial value across a complex organisation.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Lead the Country Road Group Non-Trade Procurement strategy, objectives, and performance targets.
  • Own strategic sourcing and negotiations for high-value, complex non-trade contracts.
  • Establish procurement frameworks, thresholds, and guidelines to enable efficient, compliant business-led procurement.
  • Develop and deliver the annual Non-Trade Procurement plan, including savings and value initiatives.
  • Lead vendor and contract management frameworks, ensuring strong supplier performance, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to embed procurement best practice and deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Provide accurate savings reporting, spend analysis, and performance insights.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering an inclusive, safe, and supportive culture. Set clear behavioural expectations and hold yourself and others accountable.

Key Capabilities 

  • Extensive experience in Non-Trade Procurement within large retail, corporate, or consulting environments.
  • Proven experience negotiating high-value, complex contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated people leadership capability and experience building high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
