Purpose
The PR & Partnerships Specialist role is focussed on leading all Country Road PR and Partnerships activity including strategy, product placement, news creation, talent/influencers and experiential events calendar.
This role is fundamental to the success of the brand in building brand heat, relevance, recruiting new customers and driving sales, leveraging external relationships with reputable top tier media outlets, brand collaborators and partners. Key to success is generating positive earned and paid media reach, driving digital engagement with our customers, and supporting full funnel programs that lead to conversion.
**Please note that this is a 12 month FTC**
Key Accountabilities
Develop and execute Country Road’s PR strategy, driving awareness for the brand’s products, campaigns and partnerships, ensuring consistent media coverage across key categories
Execute PR strategy for Country Road’s reconciliation journey, particularly amplifying our ongoing partnerships with DAAFF and NGV. This includes, but not limited to, press engagement, managing talent interviews and events
Develop and maintain relationships with key media, editors, influencers, and industry contacts
Lead internal event strategy for support centre events held at head office. This includes briefing, concept, supplier management and working with Group comms to share event news in order to create educational and engaging experiences for CRG and the Botanicca Life calendar
Run media, influencer and customer-facing PR events across Australia and New Zealand, from concept development to logistics, guest list management, supplier coordination, and event execution
Lead and execute Country Road’s talent and influencer strategy to drive high quality and engaging content that supports CR Organic and paid social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok
Identify and procure local and global talent – including negotiations, briefing, product coordination, content approvals, reporting and ongoing research for an ever-evolving network of the most premium and on-brand talent
Leverage strong relationships and negotiation skills to procure talent and high-quality content at the best possible rates
Ensure delivery of collaborator content against brief, timelines and brand standards, including management of any re-shoots.
Key Capabilities
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Fashion, PR or Marketing and/or relevant industry preferred
3-5 years relevant PR or Events experience within the fashion industry
Well-developed time management, organisational, analytical, problem solving and project management skills
Strong media contacts
Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google suite
A strong understanding of the media landscape
Team player with can-do attitude. Displays a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
