We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs & Logistics Specialist to oversee the end-to-end customs compliance and international shipping operations for Country Road Group.

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our global trade activities comply with all relevant import/export laws and regulations. You will also work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and government authorities to uphold compliance, train stakeholders, and ensure all customs documentation and processes are accurate and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee global customs compliance and international shipping processes.
  • Ensure full adherence to import/export laws across multiple regions.
  • Train suppliers and partners on relevant trade regulations and Country Road Group requirements.
  • Conduct compliance audits, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in customs, supporting and coaching the international logistics team.
  • Liaise with customs agencies and government bodies to resolve compliance matters.
  • Contribute to logistics performance by generating transport reporting and actionable insights.
  • Perform financial modelling and analysis to support strategic logistics decisions.
  • Track monthly logistics costs, identify budget variances, and highlight opportunities for cost optimisation.
  • Monitor key compliance and logistics performance metrics.

Key Capabilities

  • Knowledge of Customs regulations and Duty drawback scheme
  • Experience in Shipping / Supplier relations management
  • Sound knowledge of customs legal requirements for import/export of goods
  • Knowledge of shipment tracking tools and reporting
  • Strong organisational and statutory compliance skills
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a collaborative approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Power BI and SQL queries
