The purpose of this role is to develop and lead the creative direction of the Politix brand across all customer touch points. To collaborate with the marketing team on briefs to execution and ensure brand identiy is executed in a consistent and cohesive manner, with a focus on brand elevation, optimisation of customer experience and supporting commercial outcomes.
This role will lead and inspire a team of in-house graphic designers to concept, design and develop all the creative assets for POLITIX campaigns and brand activity.
Key Accountabilities
In response to Marketing Plans, Seasonal Creative Briefs and Range Presentations, lead the creative direction and development of marketing campaigns from concept through to execution across customer channels
Design and develop artwork for all marketing communications as required. Inclusive of creating shoot concepts or adapting creative concepts from external agencies into channel assets and roll out
Provide recommendations and support Marketing Manager in any briefing of external partners to deliver on campaign concepts including photographers, videographers, talent, stylists, producers, set design, location
Ensure assets deliver on specific channel requirements based on performance analytics and channel specifications
Oversee and establish the creative direction to apply to all website creative and photography, including style guide, set design and talent recommendations. Revisit this seasonally (or as needed)
Working with the marketing and online teams, respond to briefs to ensure creative synergy between shoots from website, campaign, social and still life where content can be used across multiple channels
Consider the UX journey and work with the teams to optimise design for desktop/mobile use
Develop packaging & collateral for products, campaigns, events and activations in response to briefs from the wider team/s
Weekly creative workflow management, inclusive of allocating jobs to deadlines, establishing new ways or working or systems to drive efficiencies
Understand the performance of campaigns; both customer engagement and commercial outcomes and use insights in future creative development.
Key Capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or design related field preferred
A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within fashion or retail industry (client or agency side) managing art direction, copywriting, graphic design, shoot direction and production across stills and video
Proven cross channel creative direction with a solid understanding of creative & brand expression across digital channels including social
Commercially aware, with a record of delivering creative that has a strong brand aesthetic and sales return
Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment whilst maintaining composure
Exemplary knowledge of graphic design applications including InDesign and Photoshop
Knowledge and experience in setting up of file management system and workflow management tools.
